Tyler Van Dyke comes to Wisconsin after transferring from Miami where he had a solid couple of years as the starter. After dealing with some injuries in the past couple of seasons, Van Dyke is finally healthy and in a new offensive scheme.

Wisconsin's offensive coordinator Phil Longo likes to have a mobile quarterback which is not a strong suit of Van Dyke, but his arm definitely is one Longo has not had in recent years. While he isn't the perfect quarterback for the Badgers, he has good weapons around him and head coach Luke Fickell knows how to win with puzzle-piece players, making them work in ways others didn't think they could.
