Big Ten QB rankings. . player. . . . Athan Kaliakmanis. 16. 452. Athan Kaliakmanis

Athan Kaliakmanis started the entire 2023 season at Minnesota and he was not turning many heads in a positive way. In a full season, Kaliakmanis had just 1,838 yards and 14 touchdowns with nine interceptions. His passing rate was 53.1%, one of the lowest in the Big Ten last season.

Rutgers held a quarterback competition and maybe saw something no one else did as KAliakmanis won the starting job over Gavin Wimsatt, the starter for the Scarlet Knights in 2023. Wimsatt is now gone after losing his starting job, Kalikmanis will have the field to himself in 2024.
