Way-too-early Big Ten quarterback rankings: Can Tyler Van Dyke elevate the Badgers?

Wisconsin has a new guy under center this year, can he be what the Badgers were missing?

Cade McNamara seemed to be a high draft pick back in 2021 when he was with Michigan, but since then, he has not shown the greatness he once had. McNamara went down with a torn ACL in 2023 which cut his season short, but she only had 505 passing yards and four touchdowns along with three interceptions.

With a new offensive coordinator in the building, the offense should look better than it did last season, which was one that struggled to find the end zone. McNamara will be a solid system quarterback for the Hawkeyes, but I wouldn't expect anything explosive like he once had at Michigan.
