Alex Orji. 11. . player. . Alex Orji. Big Ten QB rankings. . 485.

Alex Orji did not see the field a lot last season and only threw one pass for five yards. The Wolverine offense is going to look vastly different after setting records for the number of players taken in the 2024 NFL Draft. Orji has some big shoes to fill with J.J. McCarthy gone and with really no experience on the field, that leaves a lot of questions.

Not only does Michigan have basically a new team, but they also have a new head coach in Sherrone Moore, who showed he could win while Jim Harbaugh was suspended for three games in 2023. What helps Orji is Moore was the offensive coordinator, so he can showcase the offense in different ways, helping Orji adjust to being the starter.
