Wisconsin football has played, but never beaten, these FBS teams

The Badgers have beaten a lot of teams over the years, but somehow these teams are not among them.

Wisconsin has been playing football for what seems like forever dating back to 1889. In that time, there are only 39 teams they have not faced in the FBS. Of all the teams that Wisconsin has played though, there are nine teams that they have never beaten.

What is more impressive is they have never lost to a team that is currently not in the Power 5. Based on what the conferences will look like next year, the conference that the Badgers have struggled against the most is the SEC.

So here is every team that Wisconsin has not been able to beat just yet ordered in chronological order based on the team's last matchup.

Overall record: 0-1
First meeting: 10/7/1939
Last meeting: 10/7/1939
Last score: 17-7

Wisconsin and Texas only have one meeting in both of their program's long history. It dates back all the way to the late 1930s and it is a bit of a surprise they have not met since. With the success both programs have had it is also surprising to see that the one meeting wasn't in the postseason, but it was in the regular season.

In 1939, Texas took home the 17-7 win in what was a close 10-point game. With Texas getting ready to make the move to the SEC, maybe administrators will want to schedule a matchup soon, but unless both teams make it to a bowl game or the College Football Playoff, they aren't going to meet anytime soon.
