Only 40 years ago did Wisconsin and Kentucky meet for the first and only time. It was a very close matchup as the Badgers lost 20-19 in the Hall of Fame Classic Bowl. With the proximity of these teams, a matchup again could be possible soon, but a postseason matchup would be more likely.
The Wildcats and the Badgers are more known for meeting on the basketball court than they are on the football field. It is not impossible for these teams to get on each other;s regular season schedules, but it doesn't seem to be a priority for administration.
