Wisconsin and TCU have had two matchups that span 41 years apart. In the first meeting, neither the Horned Frogs nor the Badgers were able to bring home the win as they tied 14-14 back before overtime came to the game in 1995.
The next time these teams met was in 2011 in the postseason, more notably the historic Rose Bowl. Wisconsin finished the regular season 11-1 with their only loss coming from No. 24 Michigan State, but they had big wins over No. 1 Ohio State and No. 13 Iowa.
Meeting the Big 12 Champion TCU Horned Frogs was a tough matchup for the Badgers and it was a close game the whole way. TCU was able to take home the win 21-19 even with a late push by the Badgers in the fourth quarter.
This would be a fun matchup to see in the future with TCU possibly becoming a powerhouse in the Big 12 with Texas and Oklahoma leaving for the SEC. Administrators would get on this sometime soon, but a postseason matchup again could be quite the game to see.
