Wisconsin and South Carolina have only met once in each program's history. They met recently back in 2014 when the Gamecocks and Badgers were both selected to play in the Capital One Bowl.
Wisconsin finished the regular season 9-3 losing to Arizona State, No. 4 Ohio State, and Penn State. The Badgers had a big win over No. 19 Northwestern after the tough loss to Ohio State. Since it took till 2014 for these teams to meet it seems like it would take another postseason game for these two programs to meet again.
