Recruit EJ Walker announced his final four schools Monday and said he'll make his commitment Friday, May 24. Familiar faces fill out Walker's top four, with conference rivals Purdue and Ohio State in the running along with South Carolina, who's led by former Wisconsin assistant Lamont Paris.

The 6-foot-8 forward from Erlanger, Kentucky has garnered 27 scholarship offers and is a four-star recruit on 247Sports Composite Rankings and a consensus top-150 recruit in the 2025 class.

Wisconsin hosted Walker on an official visit back in April -- his third time visiting the campus -- and previously told BadgerNotes that the staff "make it feel like home, and it's a family atmosphere."

Greg Gard and staff have been recruiting Walker for more than a year, extending an official offer to the Lloyd Memorial High School standout on May 2, 2023, and with a commitment, he'd join three-star Zach Kinzinger in the Badger's 2025 class.

Here's what Dillon Graff of BadgerNotes had to say about Walker's game:

"His unique combination of size, athleticism, and ball skills makes Walker a versatile chess piece. He can push the ball in transition, win down on the low block with footwork, face up on occasion, knock down shots, or put the ball on the deck."

With Steven Crowl and Carter Gilmore set to graduate after the 2024-25 campaign, Walker would be a key piece of the Badgers future in the frontcourt, though Wisconsin will have to wait until Friday evening before potentially locking him in to the program's long-term plans.
