The Badgers have locked in an official visit with four-star prospect Davion Hannah. Hannah will take a trip to Madison on September 14th during a busy fall where he also has official visits scheduled with Alabama, Louisville, Ohio State and Wake Forest.
A 6'5" guard who can score from anywhere, Hannah is ranked as the number 34 overall player in the 2025 class according to 247Sports.
The top 40 ranked recruit was considered an in-state prospect until recently. The Milwaukee area native announced that he will play next season with Link Academy in Branson, Missouri. While that move will certainly make landing Hannah more difficult for Greg Gard and the Badgers, Wisconsin is still prioritizing the combo guard.
Current Badger 2025 commit Zach Kinziger is a Team Herro teammate of Hannah and has already been working to recruit him to Wisconsin.
““We’re trying to push hard for him," Kinziger told Sam Lance. "Obviously Davion’s a tremendous player, but he’s also a great teammate, great off the court. So I’d love to have him at Wisconsin and play with us. Not only because he’s an outstanding player, but because he’s good to be around. A good teammate and good locker room person.”
Landing Hannah would be an all-time get for the program and make the 2025 class one of the best in recent years.
