Wisconsin vs Purdue Game Predictions
Coming off of a brutal loss to USC as well as the loss of running back Chez Mellusi, the Badgers welcome the Purdue Boilermakers to Camp Randall in week six. You'll have to look all the way back to 2003 to find the last time that Wisconsin lost to Purdue, a streak they intend to keep alive. But both the Badgers and the Boilermakers have had their fair share of struggles in 2024. So how do we see the game going down?

All of our writers think Wisconsin will keep the winning streak alive and beat Purdue on Saturday. It's actually the fifth time in a row we have all agreed on a winner, as pretty much every game so far has had a clear favorite. Purdue enters the game at 1-3 and only averaging 12 points per game in their last three. It would be a stunning upset, but crazier things have happened.
The Badgers really need this win to keep their bowl hopes alive. A bad loss here and it's probably over, ending a 22-year streak. We'll find out a lot of things about the team regardless. How will Tawee Walker handle the starting running back role? Can the team finally put together a complete win? Luke Fickell is 0-4 against ranked teams and hasn't exactly put the beat down on lower quality teams either, so it wouldn't hurt his reputation to trounce the Boilermakers.
