After a long, grueling and football-less summer, the Badgers' first game is finally here. With a new quarterback under center in Tyler Van Dyke, the Wisconsin offense will look much different from 2023 when it struggled to put up points. The defense also looks to be stronger, although the loss of James Thompson Jr. up front is a brutal blow to a defensive line that was already weak.
Western Michigan is a team coming off of a tough 4-8 campaign in 2023. The Broncos do have an experienced offense though, and could hang around the Badgers longer than most fans would like. So how do our writers see this game shaking out? Let's get into some predictions.
