Is Luke Fickell still on the hot seat?

At this point in the season last year, there were already coaches being fired. Mostly, we've only seen coordinators getting ousted as scapegoats. The shoe will drop eventually, and these are the 10 most likely coaches to get the boot. Ranked from least likely to most likely. Don't be surprised if there are a couple on here that don't survive the next couple of weeks.

10. Bill Belichick - North Carolina

This is the weirdest name to include, but there's no way the North Carolina fanbase is enjoying what Belichick is doing at UNC. He's brought a circus to town, and it's a mess...from his girlfriend to his (now fired) son. The results aren't great either: at 2-2 with two straight losses, not ideal. It would be hard to see the University make the move now, but at the end of the season there's going to be a "we agreed to part ways" notice.

9. Lincoln Riley - USC

USC is currently ranked and just beat Washington on Saturday, and yet the pressure is real. Fans want to see the Trojans back in the playoffs. Being a ranked program that misses the College Football Playoff year after year won't cut it for Riley. He will get the benefit of the whole season before he's judged, but his seat is warm.

8. Luke Fickell - Wisconsin

Fickell started the season near the top of this list, but his 4-1 and 2-0 Big Ten start has cooled his seat dramatically. He's also seeing wins on the recruiting trail, and more money is pouring into the program. Yet, he still has to deliver results this season. Just like Riley, he will be judged at the end of the season.

7. Sonny Dykes - TCU

Dykes has not impressed at all in TCU, and he only has two wins this season for the Horned Frogs against Arkansas State and Grambling. Any real competition has been a loss. That can't continue, or he won't be allowed to continue.

6. Deion Sanders - Colorado

Prime is also running a wild circus in Colorado. It's hard to tell how long the leash is over there in Boulder, but it has to be running thin. He's now sitting on three straight losses, and his entire tenure has been mostly frustrating for Buffalo fans.

5. Dave Doeren - NC State

Beating Louisville this week helped Doeren buy some time. There are still a lot of questions about his future and the future of the program, but for now, he's not getting fired this week.

4. Shane Beamer - South Carolina

Beamer really needed to pull off that win over Kentucky this weekend, and yet, once again, a Beamer-led Gamecock team can't pull it off. This is becoming a trend, and South Carolina is warming up Beamer's seat dramatically. It doesn't get easier for the Gamecocks and Beamer, as he has Florida, Tennessee, Oklahoma, and Texas A&M next. This is one of the coaches who may not make it through the season.

3. Greg Schiano - Rutgers

Rutgers is the laughingstock of the Big Ten this season, and while no one expects them to be Ohio State, they can't be this bad. Rutgers is 1-4 with losses to UMASS and Boston College on its resume. Rutgers plays Maryland in two weeks, and the loser may fire their coach.

2. Mike Norvell - Florida State

Norvell is a sitting duck even with back-to-back wins. The schedule is turning for Norvell, and Florida State may just be waiting for the buyout to get cheaper.

1. Mike Locksley - Maryland

How does Locksley still have a job? The Terrapins will get blasted by Ohio State this week and then get to face Rutgers. That may be the deciding game for Locksley and/or Schiano.
