After not receiving an invite to the NFL Combine, offensive tackle Riley Mahlman will get his chance to shine at the Wisconsin Pro Day, which appears to be rapidly approaching.
The NFL Combine will run from February 23 to March 2 in Indianapolis, and Wisconsin will reportedly have their pro day almost immediately after.
According to Football Scoop, Luke Fickell and the Badgers are set the host their pro day on March 6th, just days after the conclusion of the combine. There, Mahlman, Mason Reiger, Vinny Anthony II and more will be able to showcase their skills to NFL scouts one last time before the draft in April.
Wisconsin will host a Pro Day right after the combine for their NFL hopefuls
In a quite frankly stunning snub, Mahlman did not get invited to the NFL Combine despite years of starting experience at one of the premier offensive line schools. With over 3,000 snaps at tackle for the Badgers, he's still a name to watch in the draft despite missing out on a chance at the combine. Mahlman will now look to make an impact on scouts at the Badgers' pro day, which seems to be one of the earlier teams on the calendar.
While the Badgers senior crop isn't it's most talented group ever, there could certainly be come wildcards that surprise people. Reiger has faced some injuries throughout his career, but when healthy is a force to be reckoned with. He missed all of 2024, but had a solid season with Wisconsin, notching five sacks.
Anthony is another player who, given the right opportunities, could really shine. His quarterback situation over the last few years hasn't exactly been ideal, but despite the poor play at QB, he's racked up 70 catches for over 1,000 yards over the past two seasons.
