Let's jump right to the chase: Steven Crowl has not yet found a single minute in the NBA Summer League. He's suited up for both games and yet, in each box, the score is listed as "Did Not Play: Coach's Decision." This means he hasn't found a way to crack a role on even the summer league squad. With only a five-game schedule, this spells doom for his NBA hopes.
Of course, there's still a chance he can find some minutes, show what he can do, and earn a spot on the roster. However, with each passing game and Crowl remaining on the bench, the chances decrease. His goal was always to show enough promise to secure a spot on a G-League roster or a two-way contract, but even that would require him to demonstrate something on the floor for the Utah Jazz.
The Utah Jazz have yet to put Steven Crowl into a Summer League game
His sole highlight so far this season has been suited up and at the end of the high-five line as they announce the starters.

The interesting nugget for the Utah Jazz is that they have only used nine players in the first game and eight in the second. Essentially, the same number is sitting on the bench with a "coach's decision" designation. These are mostly similar players to Crowl in the sense that they are players the Jazz have decided to take flyers on for the summer league season.
John Tonje has also yet to see the floor. However, he's listed as "did not dress," and he's being handled carefully after tweaking his ankle. He may not find a way into the summer league games either, but for a vastly different reason. As a second-round pick for the Utah Jazz, Tonje has a high chance to make the roster or at least sign a two-way contract.
It's not out of the woods yet for Crowl, but it's not looking good so far for his hopes of being on an NBA roster this season.
