After starting the season 2-0, Wisconsin will get their first big test of the year when they head down to face Alabama on Saturday. Vegas released their odds for the matchup, and it looks like the Badgers will be huge underdogs against the Crimson Tide.

Alabama enters the game as 20.5 point favorites in Fanduel's latest odds. The matchup will feature the first of potentially six ranked opponents Wisconsin will face during their brutal 2025 schedule.

Can Wisconsin pull off the upset against Alabama in week 3?

After cruising by Miami (OH) and Middle Tennessee, Wisconsin has now outscored their opponents by a score of 59-10. This week, though, the competition take a steps up a notch as the Tide are coming off of a 73-0 victory. Head coach Luke Fickell told his team they'll need to make the biggest jump of the season in order to come home with a win.

The Badger offensive line has been problematic through two games, and Fickell may try a different lineup for the third week in a row to combat the Alabama front. Another big question Wisconsin will have to answer is who will start at quarterback. Backup Danny O'Neil has filled in admirably, but Wisconsin is eagerly awaiting the return of Billy Edwards Jr. who has been out with a knee sprain since early in week one.

While the Badgers are big underdogs, Alabama did suffer an upset in week one and showed they can be beat by a less talented team. While the Badgers haven't been perfect this year, the defense has been stellar, and there's a chance Edwards Jr. could return from injury to the starting lineup ahead of the pivotal game.
