The Wisconsin Badgers are at risk of losing another defensive line recruit for the 2026 recruiting class. One of their prized position groups, both in this offseason and going forward in the upcoming recruiting seasons, has not gone the way they had hoped. Earlier this offseason, Luke Fickell and the Badgers lost defensive line recruit Carmelow Reed to Ole Miss. Now, Djidjou Bah is on a flip watch as Penn State comes calling.

Djidjou Bah is on flip watch after a recent offer from Penn State

The wild part of this story is that Djidjou Bah was already on flip watch after taking a visit to Missouri after committing to Wisconsin. While he has given a hard verbal commitment to Wisconsin, he continues to court other suitors, which is not a good sign.

Bah holds nearly 30 offers now as his recruitment continues to pick up and more and more programs continue to lurk. The biggest competition now seems to be Missouri and Penn State. While he hasn't officially decommitted from Wisconsin, his timeline of events continues to be alarming to Badgers fans.

The frustrating part is that the defensive line is what Luke Fickell says Wisconsin needs the most to continue to improve both now and in the future. He identified the reason for their collapse last season as a late breakdown and weardown of the defensive line. He really needs to hit a home run in the recruiting world in the trenches.

The staff hopes that Bah remains firmly committed and successfully evades all incoming offers and interests. However, the fact that he hasn't shut down his recruitment should signal alarm bells for Fickell and company.
