The Wisconsin Badgers featured three players in All-Pro voting: Zack Baun with a First-Team All-Pro award. T.J. Watt and Andrew Van Ginkel with Second-Team All-Pro honors. If you notice a theme, it's because there is one; those are all linebackers. The official Wisconsin team social media account on X was quick to post about it.

Zack Baun has an incredible story and Wisconsin fans are relishing in his success.
Fans were thrilled about all of that (though a little miffed that Watt wasn't a First-Team), but they were most exuberant about Baun's selection. His story is incredible as he went from a backup with hardly any opportunities, mostly on special teams for the New Orleans Saints. He almost gave up his NFL career but signed a one-year deal with the Philadelphia Eagles for 2024. He is now the best linebacker in the NFL, according to PFF.

Baun finished as @PFF's top-graded LB (90.1) and is the first Badger since at least 1999 to record 100+ tackles and 5+ forced fumbles in an NFL season. pic.twitter.com/tSQHIqm8NH
While Baun was at Wisconsin, he was a star, and even with a strong history of top defensive players and linebackers, Baun still ranks among the best. He totaled in his three years as a Badger 154 tackles, 32 tackles for loss, 15 sacks (12.5 coming his final season), three forced fumbles, and two interceptions. He was a force to be reckoned with, and now the NFL has finally noticed. It only took an opportunity for him to get out of the depth chart of New Orleans and earn his starting spot for the Philadelphia Eagles but when he did, he has proved he's still one of the best linebackers in the nation.
