Wisconsin football had a weird opening week against Miami (OH). The defense was smothering and didn't allow much from the Redhawks. The offense struggled to get going, and then Billy Edwards Jr. got injured, and it was like the offense had to restart. However, they ended up being right around the final odds for the game. The odds were 17.5 against Miami (OH), and the game ended at 17-0 Wisconsin.

The second week in, and the Badgers are now taking on Middle Tennessee, who looked terrible last week, especially on offense. The Blue Raiders are so bad that Wisconsin, even without (most likely) their starting quarterback, is listed as a 28.5-point favorite on FanDuel.

Those are some absurd odds to start the week for the Badgers. However, to make it even more fascinating from Vegas' perspective on this game. The oddsmakers put the over/under at 45.5. This means that the final score is supposed to be essentially 37-8.5, considering the 28.5-point favorite towards Wisconsin. This isn't a real score, so in reality, with the over, it will be 37-9.

To hit that exact number for Wisconsin, it would be four touchdowns and three field goals. On the other side, Middle Tennessee would then get three field goals. This would be quite a feat for them if their last week was any indication.

The Blue Raiders played an FCS school and only scored 14 points, ultimately losing to Austin Peay 34-14. The Wisconsin vs. Middle Tennessee game could be pretty ugly if week one is any indication for both teams. ESPN has Wisconsin's win probability at 97.3% which is about as high as it can be.

The game is on Saturday, September 6th, 3pm at Camp Randall Stadium. The game will air on FS1.
