Wisconsin had a rough weekend on the field, but was able to walk away with one piece of good news. They landed a cornerback they've been hoping to flip for weeks, Donovan Dunmore. He was originally committed to Oregon State, but Wisconsin has been working hard to get him to come to Madison. This weekend, after being around the program, he made the decision to become a Badger.

Dunmore is a 3-star cornerback from Clovis, California. He's listed as 6'0 and 185 pounds. He is sitting on offers from around 13 programs besides Oregon State and Wisconsin, which include Arizona, Boise State, UNLV, and more.
He took his visit to Madison and watched the Badgers get beaten by Maryland 27-10, but something in the visit encouraged him enough to flip. It's been rumored for a while that he's been a strong candidate for flipping to Wisconsin, and so the game may not have pushed the needle, but the visit certainly did.
Madison is one of the best college towns in the country, and the experience, despite the game, was probably exciting for him, especially in comparison to what Corvallis is offering at Oregon State.
According to 24/7 Sports' Greg Biggins, he's going to fit the Wisconsin mentality for cornerbacks nicely. "His cover skills are impressive, but what stands out even more is his physicality. He does a nice job fighting off blockers and is an excellent open field tackler." This is the type of cornerback that Luke Fickell and his team are always looking for: physical and willing to attack the ball.
It's hard to get too excited about a flipped recruit, knowing that most fans still want to see the entire program changed over; yet, Dunmore does give Wisconsin fans some good news.
