The Wisconsin Badgers had zero draft picks in the 2026 NFL Draft, but then the NFL went on to sign 12 Badgers as UDFA. Which is an incredible number of players in one class. It was originally 11 players, but Ricardo Hallman recently signed with the Denver Broncos. None of them are assured a place on an NFL roster; each of them has a lot to prove in the NFL, and with basically only the preseason to do it, Badger fans are paying keen attention to how each does.
Well, here's a comprehensive list of NFL Preseason Week 1 action for all 12 UDFA Badgers:
1. Mason Reiger - Miami Dolphins
Reiger had two total tackles, including a sack where he had a free release to the quarterback. He hasn't made a ton of noise in training camp, so it's good to see him splash in week 1 of the preseason.

2. Vinny Anthony II - Atlanta Falcons
Anthony worked both as a wide receiver and a kick returner. He took three kickoffs during the game for 90 total yards, with a long of 32 yards. The other two were also impressive. He also had three targets with one catch for five yards.
3. Lance Mason - Seattle Seahawks
Mason did not record any stats in the first week of the preseason for the Seattle Seahawks against the Dallas Cowboys.
4. Darryl Peterson III - Los Angeles Rams
Peterson had plenty of opportunities, and he made the most of them with five total tackles, one being solo. He looked good along the line and will certainly get more opportunities going forward in the preseason.
5. Austin Brown - Indianapolis Colts
Did not play in the preseason Week 1 game against the New England Patriots. He did miss some time during minicamps with an undisclosed injury, but he's not on the PUP list, so it's hard to know if it's still relevant.
6. Ben Barten - New York Jets
Barten was originally signed by the New York Giants but was cut before training camp; the Jets then signed him. While he did play for the New York Jets against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, he only recorded one tackle. He was then listed as one of the Jets players who performed the worst in Week 1 of the NFL preseason by PFF. Not a great start for the former Wisconsin DL.

7. Riley Mahlman - Atlanta Falcons
Mahlman saw some action in the NFL preseason Week 1, and it was uneventful, which for an offensive lineman, that's what you want.
8. Jackson Acker - Buffalo Bills
Played but didn't record any stats, which as a fullback isn't all that essential.
9. Nyzier Fourqurean - Los Angeles Rams
Fourqurean is a very interesting name to watch because he wasn't allowed to play for the Badgers last season, but he stayed in shape and hoped to get drafted. UDFA always felt like the option, and in Week 1 he totaled four tackles.
10. Parker Petersen - Carolina Panthers
Petersen was able to mix in and record two tackles against the Buffalo Bills.
11. Jay'viar Suggs - New Orleans Saints
Was listed as available and played but didn't record any stats in the box score.
12. Ricardo Hallman - Denver Broncos
Hallman saw pretty limited action but was able to record a tackle against the Atlanta Falcons.
