The official visit season is upon us, and the Wisconsin Badgers are coming off one huge weekend and are already on to the next. They even currently have a recruit on campus right now, almost a bridge between the two big weekends. Last weekend, Luke Fickell and his staff hosted over 15 recruits, and this weekend won't be nearly that big, but it will still be impressive.
The player currently on campus is 4-star offensive tackle Wilson Zierer out of Rabun, Georgia. He has 28+ offers from teams like Alabama, Auburn, Georgia, Michigan, etc. He would be an impressive grab for the Badgers.
Players said to on an official visit to Wisconsin this weekend:
There's a whole slew of players that had scheduled visits to Wisconsin for this weekend, but some are now committed elsewhere, or there have been no recent reports of them still making the visit. Players like Carmelow Reed, who just flipped to Ole Miss, were planning to be in Madison this weekend, and also Jamir Perez, who is now a Florida commit. Here are the players that are planning to be in Wisconsin this weekend:
4-star RB - Ryan Estrada
3-star Safety - Chase Geter
3-star DB - Jamyan Theodore
3-star OT - Benjamin Novak (Wisconsin Commit)
3-star OT - Jalayne Miller
There may be others, and this list could end up growing like the last list as more confirmed visits were posted. It is good to see Benjamin Novak in the mix, as it's nice to have a player already in the fold helping recruit the other players considering making the move. It's also very likely that Wisconsin commit Aden Reeder will also be on campus this weekend. That would give Luke Fickell two commits voicing the excitement of becoming a Badger.
If this weekend ends up like last weekend with a couple of commits coming off the weekend, it will be huge for the program.
