Through all the inconsistencies that Wisconsin Badger football provides, the one thing that fans can consistently count on every weekend is the almost unrealistically good numbers that 2027 commit Kingston Allen puts up. The 6-foot-1 running back, of course, did it again this Friday, taking 21 carries for 296 yards and six touchdowns, even tacking on another 33 yards through the air.

This was one of the few times that his coaches at Notre Dame let him rock beyond the first half, as typically his day is done following a first-half onslaught that builds a lead beyond what any team can possibly recover from. Today, you could argue he did the same, as he racked up 14 carries for 217 yards and five touchdowns in the first half en route to a 35-0 lead.
However, his coaches decided to let him run his numbers up a bit, keeping him in and letting him stack up one of his better performances of the year. Note that “one of” line, as if you are new to the Kingston Allen experience, then you may not know just how historic of a season he’s been having.

Allen stacked up north of 450 yards in the two competitive games that Notre Dame has played this year, and his lowest total of the year was 122 yards — which he achieved on just seven carries. Even crazier, despite racking up almost 2,000 yards in just six games, this is just the third time all year that Allen has eclipsed 20 carries, having nearly as many games under 10 carries as he does over 20.

In short, this has been a historic year for the future Badger. Last season, he was able to rack up 3,436 yards and 57 touchdowns, insane numbers that are almost impossible to replicate. However, after today, Allen is now on track for 3,686 yards and 70 touchdowns.
Pretty sure it goes without explanation how ridiculous of a year he’s been having.
The only real worry moving forward should be the thought of overuse on the high school scene, as stacking up hits that early in your playing career could cause wear and tear on the body. That said, it’s clear that Allen is built and ready to make an impact the moment he steps foot on campus in Madison.
The biggest question is how long his leash will be early on. It’s rare to see true freshmen break into the rotation right away in college football, but with a talent like this, it’s going to be impossible to keep him off the field.
