It's almost time for the 2027 official visits, and Wisconsin will play host to a ton of recruits, some still deciding, some already committed, and some Luke Fickell is hoping to flip. The Badgers also will see many 4-star players making their visit to Madison, one of whom is Cristian Mbamarah from Colorado. However, there's a catch with his visit that may or may not benefit Wisconsin.

According to Rivals recruiting expert Brandon Huffman, Mbamarah wants to decide soon and may not get through all his visits. The problem for the Badgers is that the final visit on his trip through four schools listed by Huffman is Wisconsin.

4-star DB Cristian Mbamarah has a visit scheduled for Wisconsin on June 12

Mbamarah is one of Robert Steeples' priority targets, and On3 actually thinks that Wisconsin is the favorite to land Mbamarah. On3 may be right if Mbamarah makes it all the way to June 12 before he decides on his future. Steeples and Fickell getting the last recruiting pitch at him will help a ton and could end up getting him to be a Badger.

However, there are three visits before Wisconsin, and each program is not trying to let him move on to the next destination. Stanford will get to go first on May 22, followed by Northwestern and Duke, with Wisconsin being last listed above. However, he actually has one more visit after Wisconsin (if he makes it that far), and that's to Kansas State on June 19. It's interesting that Huffman didn't include that visit, and it makes you wonder if maybe the Wildcats are a long shot.

The June 12 weekend that Mbamarah is coming is a loaded weekend for official visits. There are a bunch of 3 and 4-star recruits that Luke Fickell is hoping to get to commit that weekend. It will be a busy weekend, and Steeples is hoping to get Mbamarah on campus and then to become a Badger.
