The Wisconsin Badgers are hot on the trail for 2026 talent and they just made the cut list for a highly coveted defensive tackle with around 35 offers. 4-star (Rivals) Damari Simeon wants to focus on only 10 schools going forward into his senior season, and the Badgers are one of them, as well as some of the biggest programs in the country. Now that he has narrowed things down, there will be a push to get him scheduled for an official visit.
After a lot of consideration I will be narrowing down my recruitment to these schools…🙏🏾 #Top10 pic.twitter.com/ERS1ivhCyd

Damari Simeon will pick between 10 schools with Wisconsin looking to bring him to campus
His final list is full of some of the best recruiting schools in both the SEC and Big Ten, with a couple of ACC schools making the list. He narrowed his list to Notre Dame, Ohio State, Duke, Texas A&M, Syracuse, Michigan, Tennessee, Penn State, Wisconsin, and Texas. The surprising name that isn't on that list is Rutgers, who Rivals picked as the pick for the "Fan Future Cast."
This is mainly due to him being a star player in the area at St. Augustine in Richland, New Jersey. He has picked up offers fast and 24/7 Sports hasn't even had a chance to give him a rating (as of this post writing). Rivals have him as a 4-star, and On3 lists him as nearly a 4-star with a high 80s grade.
He took an unofficial visit to Wisconsin, according to Rivals, a couple of weeks ago. They list his unofficial campus visit as happened on January 26. This is great news for Wisconsin, and they may have a leg up as there are no other unofficial visits listed currently. Luke Fickell and staff have made Simeon a priority and will look to get him in for an official now that his list is cut to 10.
