Ayianna Johnson, a native of Jefferson, Wisconsin, who has played at both Minnesota and Colorado, jumped into the transfer portal at the end of the season. She committed to playing for Denver but today decided to go back in the portal. While she wasn't lights out at Colorado, she would fill a need for Wisconsin in her junior season.

Wisconsin fans are asking if the Badgers will add Ayianna Johnson
New Wisconsin women's head coach Robin Pingeton has added a ton of guards in the transfer portal. She has had to rebuild the team after Marisa Moseley's departure. She has added a couple of forwards, but mostly guards, and Johnson will fill a big need for her. The Wisconsin ties make Badger fans ask the question if Pingeton would consider bringing her home.
@CoachPingeton we need a bat signal from you when we get a commitment! & one spot to fill still (*cough Ayianna Johnson)

Johnson struggled to get many minutes at Colorado, averaging 9.9 minutes a game and scoring an average of five points and 2.1 rebounds. She finished the season with 154 points. While her minutes went down from Minnesota, her total output was a ton better. She may be a great depth piece for Wisconsin, which is looking for exactly that.
According to the list above from Women's Insider, Dushawn London, Wisconsin, isn't on the list of teams she has heard from unless she is in the "and others." That very well could be the case, and so it's more of an idea in the brains of fans right now. However, the fit is there, the home state product, and the fact that she would get an opportunity on a rebuilding team all go to Wisconsin's credit. But is the culture fit there for Wisconsin and Pingeton? That's the piece that most are not sure of yet.
