One of the top targets for Luke Fickell and the Wisconsin Badgers in the 2027 class is 4-star offensive lineman Cole Reiter. There's some good news coming out of Rivals today as one of the top recruiting experts, Allen Trieu, has given a prediction update for Reiter and Wisconsin. The article below is behind a paywall, but you can see his prediction percentage at 96.5% on Reiter's public profile.

Wisconsin is in great shape with 4-star OL Cole Reiter from Germantown

According to Rivals, Reiter is the No. 2 player in the state of Wisconsin and a recruit that Fickell is going all-in to keep in-state. Reiter is 6'7 and 275 pounds, and he plays big both in run blocking and pass protection.

Two different 24/7 recruiting experts have also predicted Wisconsin to land Reiter. Nick Osen, a Wisconsin recruiting expert, and Jon McNamara. Each has a relatively high confidence that Reiter will become a Badger, and now, with the new information from Rivals, it looks like Reiter could be committing soon.

Reiter has 16 offers from all over FBS, but some of the important ones in the race are Kansas, Ohio State, Indiana, Minnesota, Auburn, Missouri, Nebraska, and Michigan State.

Reiter has been on the Wisconsin campus for unofficial visits multiple times and was recently even seen with other recruits at a Wisconsin hockey game. He's clearly very high on the Wisconsin Badgers, and while there was some concern when AJ Blazek was let go by Luke Fickell after the season. That maybe they would have Reiter looking around, but it seems as if Fickell and new offensive line coach Eric Mateos have continued that strong relationship.

This would be a big get for the Wisconsin Badgers, and it would showcase a wall going in around the state to keep the best players home.
