Wisconsin recruits went viral during the Washington Huskies' upset when they were caught on camera shirtless but sitting just off the field. The photo that flew through Wisconsin fans on social media was one of four recruits, one flashing the Wisconsin "W", two pointing at the camera, and the final one unfazed and staring off.
There was actually a group of about 14 people in the shirtless group. It's not confirmed if all were recruits, but they were part of the shenanigans. Cole Reiter and Korz Loken were certainly part of it.
Fans were loving the commitment, even though the weather was really cold and the conditions couldn't decide whether to snow or rain. The game, being hopeful and exciting, helped a ton. It's also said that the recruits were some of the first to jump the wall and storm the field.
“It was probably one of the best college football game days I’ve ever been to. The field storm was something I have never seen and the environment was electric.”

The hope for Wisconsin fans is now the future from true freshmen to recruits

The win over Washington did a lot to revive spirits in Wisconsin, and the shirtless recruits in the picture were actually part of that hope. The rejuvenation of faith will come on the back of the young players and the recruits that are coming.
The game featured a true freshman quarterback, Carter Smith, and two of the best players in the game were both true freshmen linebackers, Cooper Catalano and Mason Posa. This season may be lost, but the future looks bright if Luke Fickell can keep this recruiting class together and get new deals for these true freshmen stars.
The offseason will be a big priority for Fickell and Chris McIntosh. The Wisconsin athletic director has said that a big goal for him is to invest in the roster. Keeping the stars and future stars, upping the ante in recruiting, and bringing in some game-changing transfers. That's the hope being sold, and the Huskies' upset only helped that cause.
