The Wisconsin Badgers' wide receiver room is loaded with players, and it seems chock-full of talent. Yet, there are more questions than answers in this position group, with uncertainty up and down the depth chart. It's the toughest position group to project as it's hard to figure out who's going to fly and who's going to fall. If you squint, you can see a room with a ton of starters, or if you go cross-eyed, you see the opposite.

Let's start with the reality that there are 15 listed wide receivers on the Wisconsin football roster. 15! That's a lot of players in one room. There are a few that are walk-ons, so we can work those out of the equation. Even so, there are still about a dozen fighting for opportunities.

Most likely, we see this position has a lot of different faces rolling in and out. However, there are a few that catch your eye. First, Eugene Hilton Jr. came back this season as he was told that he could be a featured part of the offense. Add in seniors Chris Brooks and Tyrell Henry. Those three feel like they have the best shot to be a main part of the offense.

However, there are former 4-star players who transferred into Wisconsin who have the talent to work into the rotation or even steal a spot. Malachi Coleman from Minnesota and Zion Kearney from Oklahoma. Both of these players were top recruits in high school.

Then there's Jaylon Domingeaux, who's received a lot of praise early in the spring and has some flash and splash to his game. He will certainly have some usage. It doesn't get easier after Domingeaux, as Shamar Rigby also has some excitement building for the season.

What about even Jackson McGohan, who was converted by this Wisconsin coaching staff from tight end to wide receiver? Does he have a role? He's huge and could play a factor in the passing and run blocking game.

The room is not easy to project at all, but if you were going to put money down on a starting three, it would have to be the three returners from last year: Chris Brooks, Eugene Hilton Jr., and Tyrell Henry. However, don't be surprised if others take those spots.
