The Wisconsin Badgers just had their biggest resume-boosting win of the season. They now have two quad-1A wins. A quad-1 win is a win against any of the top teams in the country based on their NET ranking and whether the game is home, away, or on a neutral site. The quad-1A is basically the very top teams. They now have a win over Arizona and Purdue, beating the Boilermakers on the road is the most impressive so far.

After this win the Badgers jumped in a lot of the rankings and will continue to rise as the other polls continue to release their rankings, like the AP Poll.

Rankings for Wisconsin:

Selection Committee: 11 (3 seed)
NET: 12
KenPom: 9
T-Rank: 10
KPI: 11

The Badgers are currently ranked No. 16 in the AP Poll. How high will they climb in the Top 25 after this performance and after many of the other rankings have pulled them securely in the Top 15, with KenPom even having them as a top-10 team? It should be noted that the Selection Committee for March Madness had them as the 11th team even before the Purdue victory.

They will certainly rise, but how high will they climb? It always helps to see what happened around them. Let's take the teams from 10-16 and see what those teams did this week.

No. 10 Iowa State: Beat UCF and Cincinnati
No. 11 Michigan State: Lost to Indiana and beat Illinois
No. 12 Texas Tech: Beat Arizona State and Oklahoma State
No. 13 Arizona: Lost to Kansas State and No. 6 Houston
No. 14 Memphis: Beat South Florida and lost to Wichita State
No. 15 Kentucky: Beat No. 5 Tennessee, lost to Texas

There's a bit of chaos in there. Arizona lost twice, Iowa State and Texas Tech both won twice. The rest split their games. It appears there's room for Wisconsin to move up. They would have anyway because of their victory over Purdue, but when other teams move for Wisconsin, it's even easier.

AP Poll Prediction: No. 12
