The Wisconsin volleyball program enters Big Ten play with a ton of momentum. They only have one loss on their resume against one of the best teams in the nation, Texas, and just finished off an impressive showing against the Florida Gators to head into the conference schedule.

This last week was not just impressive in the wins category but also featured some impressive individual performances. Out of the four Big Ten weekly awards, Wisconsin walked away with three of them. Mimi Colyer won Big Ten Player of the Week, Carter Booth was the Defensive Player of the Week, and Charlie Fuerbringer received the award of Setter of the Week. Each of them has eye-popping stats to showcase those honors.

Colyer had 27 kills against Florida with 14 digs to go along with it. On the week, though, she had 5.71 kills per set, 2.86 digs, and 6.5 points per set. It wasn't hard for the Big Ten to award her with the Player of the Week.

Booth was also impressive against Florida with nine blocks, two digs, and four kills. As a middle blocker to almost come down with double-digit blocks on one of the best teams in the nation, it is impressive. She finished the week with 1.71 blockers per set and 1.57 kills per set.

Finally, Fuerbringer, the glue that keeps it all together, joined her teammates with awards and also looked really sharp against Florida. She had 50 assists in that game! 50! With 10 digs and three kills to boot. Her stats for the week were 2.71 digs per set and 11.7 assists per set.

The Badgers take on Rutgers on Friday, September 21 at 7pm in the UW Fieldhouse.
