Week 1 for college football is just a few days ago but it's still 10 days for Wisconsin and Notre Dame as they play on Sunday night September 6. There are still many fans of both programs debating whether to go or to watch at home. Many have been watching the ticket prices to see if going to the game becomes realistic. The cheapest back in July were still north of $300 and while prices have fallen, not by much.
Now with a little more than a week left, the cheapest seat we could find was right around $250. These aren't ideal seats, but they get you into the stadium. It's also a tough decision for Badger fans, as last season was embarrassing enough, and with Wisconsin sitting as 20.5 underdogs to the No. 4 Notre Dame Fighting Irish, it may not be worth the hundreds of dollars.
Yet, the dilemma is: a new team, with a better roster and the opportunity for a game-changing upset. Do you really want to miss that? Even to see what this new roster looks like in person. Oh, add in the fact that this is a college game at an NFL Stadium in Lambeau Field. There are a lot of reasons to debate if this is a game worth attending or not.

Let's dive right into the prices, we did the work for you, so you don't have to scour.
Ticket Prices for Wisconsin vs. Notre Dame at Lambeau Field:
StubHub: The cheapest seats right now are $261 in the 700 sections (top rung of the end zone). If you want decent seats, closer to the action, the price jumps towards $375.
Vivid Seats: Similar section as StubHub but with a price around $259. If you want to be closer to the field and down with a decent view, the price is $430.
SeatGeek: If you haven't guessed by now, all of these ticket sites are offering the cheap seats in similar sections, up in the 700s and similar prices around the 100s. For SeatGeek, the cheapest entry price is $260 up in the 700s. If you want a decent 100-level seat, the price is $383.
TickPick: Comes in with the lowest price of $246 and even some $250-ish prices in the end zone of the 300s. So, there are some steals here. If you want a decent seat in the 100-level, you're looking at $320 to $400.
That gives anyone a pretty good idea, and it shouldn't have to be said, but it must be said. These prices were at the time of this writing and are subject to change as tickets are bought and sold. Thus, if you aren't reading it exactly when it's being written, then prices will be changing. However, it has been hovering around these prices for at least a week.
It's hard to know if the prices will drop any more; it's now at the point where it will probably do both drop and rise as game day approaches.
