Wisconsin vs Penn State Game Predictions

The Badgers have played well and won their last three games, but those victories came against teams whose combined record is 8-13. Now 6-0 and No. 3 ranked Penn State comes to town in Wisconsin's biggest game since their loss against Alabama. So how do our writers see this primetime matchup going?

A few one score games, but no one has the Badgers pulling off an epic upset at Camp Randall. This game is a bit odd in the sense that a close game or Wisconsin getting blown out seem equally likely and I wouldn't be surprised with either outcome. Yes, Penn State is ranked third in the country, but they needed overtime to defeat unranked USC and didn't exactly dominate the one-win UCLA Bruins the week before either. There's definitely a world where the Badgers win.

On the other hand, Penn State could easily just be finding their stride, much like the Badgers did over the past three games, and this game could be disastrous for Wisconsin. The Badgers have been winning, but against bottom half of the conference teams. Don't forget, Alabama came into Madison and won by 32, albeit in a game marred by injuries. Bottom line is it's hard to say which Penn State and which Wisconsin will show up and that's why they play the games. Let's just hope that the same Badgers that have allowed just 16 points in three weeks are the same ones to step foot on the field come Saturday.
