Wisconsin has been licking its wounds all week as they prepare for Rutgers. The beatdown they took from Iowa has hopefully made them angry enough to manhandle the Scarlet Knights and not let off the gas for four quarters. Rutgers isn't a good team this year, and they are extremely banged up, so there's really no excuse not to go out and beat the Scarlet Knights with some flair.
Before kickoff, let's look one final time at the odds, spread, moneyline, and even a score prediction. Oh, let's cap it off with a "how to watch" since it's buried on the Big Ten Network.

This game started at around 16.5 to start the week, but as Rutgers continued to have major injuries announced, it got worse for the Scarlet Knights. Rutgers will be without two starting linemen, their starting quarterback, and their star wide receiver. It's a mess of injuries over there, and that will severely hamper their ability to keep up in this game.
The big news is that Wisconsin is also down, arguably, their best offensive lineman, Kevin Heywood. They are also turning to their true freshman quarterback, Ryan Hopkins. So, this could be a unique game in a lot of different ways. But that spread is very much in Wisconsin's favor, and this shouldn't be a stressful game for the Badgers.
Wisconsin vs. Rutgers game prediction
The most fun way to do a prediction is to start with the baseline of what Vegas is predicting and go from there. With an 18.5 spread and the over/under of 45.5, Vegas is assuming the final score will be somewhere around Wisconsin 32, Rutgers 14. If we try to get to a somewhat realistic football score.
If that's the baseline, then we can make our own prediction. It's actually hard to argue too much with that prediction. Rutgers is one of the worst passing offenses, but now with all these starters out on their own offense, it's hard to see much of an attack happening. Especially against this angry Badger defense. So, it may actually be a little lower-scoring on the Rutgers side of things.
BoH prediction: Wisconsin wins 31-9.
It's hard to see the Rutgers offense getting much going. The Badgers should be able to have a field day against this backup offensive line, and the backup quarterback was pretty bad last week against Michigan. Most of the Rutgers offense came from the tailbacks and a couple of explosive plays. That could happen again, but it's hard to see Wisconsin allowing a touchdown to Rutgers.
