The Wisconsin Badgers are back in action at Camp Randall, looking for their first Big Ten win of the season and first-ranked win under Luke Fickell. The Badgers take on the Washington Huskies at 3:30 pm CT, and the game will air on the Big Ten Network.
No one wants this win more than Chris McIntosh this week; the Wisconsin athletic director is "throwing all the marbles in on it," according to Melvin Gordon. He decided to double down on his support for Fickell and says he won't be fired this season and will instead return for 2026. That's a big gamble, and one McIntosh pays off immediately.
It will be a tough task as Washington is surging and has one of the best offenses in the Power 4. The Badgers' defense played well against Oregon, while the offense offered almost no support.
Final Odds for Wisconsin vs. Washington: 10.5 Huskies
The final odds have moved closer to a Wisconsin upset, as now the Huskies are only favored by 10.5 according to FanDuel. The Badgers' offense hasn't shown much to win this in a shootout, so you have to think Vegas thinks Wisconsin will slow down Washington.
However, the over/under is set at 44.5. Which means Vegas is predicting a final score of 28-17 Washington (if you take the over). This feels a bit high for Wisconsin, but maybe true freshman quarterback Carter Smith gets the start and adds some juice to this lackluster offense. The Huskies' defense can provide openings at times.
Final score prediction: Washington 31 Wisconsin 13
It's hard to think that Wisconsin all of a sudden becomes an offensive unit after 27 total points in Big Ten play this season. Maybe it happens, but it feels like a lot to ask this team to get more than 10 points. It does seem like the Huskies present the best chance of multiple scores, but the Badgers have to get out of their own way first.
