The Wisconsin Badgers will head into the 2015 Outback to take on the Auburn Tigers Thursday, Jan. 1, and several Badgers will be key factors in determining whether Wisconsin will be able to emerge with a victory.

No. 18 Wisconsin (10-3) and No. 19 Auburn (8-4) both enter the game coming off of disappointing losses, Wisconsin 59-0 to Ohio State in the Big Ten Championship Game and Auburn 55-44 to Alabama in the Iron Bowl to end the regular season.

Both teams are coming off of bowl game losses a season ago. Auburn fell to Florida St. in the National Championship while Wisconsin fell to South Carolina in the Capital One Bowl.

Auburn failed to make a bowl game two years ago, but had a special 2013 campaign leading to a National Championship berth.

Wisconsin is looking to break a streak of four bowl game losses, including three Rose Bowl losses. Wisconsin’s last bowl win was the 2009 Champs Sports Bowl, a win over Miami.

The Badgers will look to break that winless streak in the 2015 Outback Bowl, and here’s five Wisconsin players who will be key to making that happen.
