New England Patriots: Round 1, pick 32
The last place I see as a possibility for Melvin Gordon in the first round is the last pick in the first round, number 32 overall to the Super Bowl Champion New England Patriots.

New England fans are probably screaming for the Patriots to go wide receiver here in a wide receiver-heavy draft to give Tom Brady a better option to pair with Rob Gronkowski, but the Patriots have always used running backs in interesting ways, and would likely love to get their hands on Gordon.
With Shane Vereen handling the pass-catching duties out of the backfield, Gordon wouldn’t be counted on to be that third down back. The Patriots have also been less than committed to a starter, with several guys getting the job throughout the season until LeGarrette Blount showed up.
The Pats have a slew of guys on roster – Vereen, Blount, Jonas Gray, Stevan Ridley (who likely won’t be a Patriot soon), and former Badger James White, but that wouldn’t stop them from taking a shot on a talent like Gordon.
The creativity of the Patriots offense would be a great place for Gordon to begin his NFL career.
