Twitter Reaction: Wisconsin Badgers “Made in March” Uniforms Unveiled
By Jim Oxley
The Wisconsin Badgers will sport a new look come March Madness and the NCAA Tournament as Adidas has releasedthe Badgers “Made in March” uniforms, along with uniforms for other Adidas squads.
The uniforms, unveiled Thursday morning, contain a pretty traditional jersey with some updated shorts.
Take a look:
As the Wisconsin basketball team’s tweet suggested, the last time Wisconsin donned Adidas’ special edition uniforms, they made it to the Final Four.
In addition to the updated jerseys, the team will be able to wear special edition Adidas shoes including D Lillard 1’s, J Wall 1’s and D Rose 5 Boosts.
All nine Adidas teams will use the “Made in March” uniforms.
Twitter reaction immediately focused on the shorts.
Some people just flat out didn’t like the look.
Big Ten Network’s Brent Yarina like them better than last year’s jerseys (I agree).
What do you think of the new March Madness uni’s?
We’ll likely see these jerseys in action March 19 or 20 when the 2015 NCAA Tournament gets underway. Selection Sunday – March 15 – is just over two weeks away.
