First Round

The 16-seed Coastal Carolina Chanticleers (24-9, 12-6) got into the NCAA Tournament by winning the Big South Conference Tournament.

Despite the garbage Seth Davis spewed about how they could be a challenge for Wisconsin, I think this game is going to be an absolute demolition. For starters, this isn’t even the best team in the Big South. They finished in 3rd place and lucked out by having the conference tournament on their home floor. Furthermore, they don’t have the size to compete. They don’t have a starter taller than 6 foot 7, and they start three guards shorter than 6 foot 3.

Frank Kaminsky, Nigel Hayes, and Sam Dekker (if he decides to show up), will dominate in the post and on the glass. Despite winning at Auburn, Coastal Carolina is no match for the Badgers.

Prediction: 73-43 Wisconsin
