The redshirt senior is heading into his third season as the starting left tackle, and is among the best linemen in the country heading into the 2014-15 season. He’s helped the past two Wisconsin rushing offensive attacks be among the best in school history (283.2 yards per game in 2013, 320.1 yards per game in 2014 — a school record).
In the passing game, Wisconsin’s offensive line has allowed just 1.07 sacks per game while Marz has been a starter.
Last year, Marz was a consensus honorable mention All-Big Ten selection, and will be looking to continue his strong play in 2015.
While Marz himself won’t be making the plays this season, his presence alone will help the rest of the playmakers on this list achieve their full potential.
