The ACC/Big Ten Challenge is still tied after two days
As usual, the ACC/Big Ten Challenge will come down to the final night of play, as after eight games the two conferences are noted up at four wins apiece.

After the conferences split the two games played in the challenge on Monday night, the six games in action Tuesday night were also evenly split between the Big Ten and ACC conferences, with each earning three victories.
Here’s how Tuesday’s action unfolded:
Wisconsin Badgers
#2 Maryland 81, #9 North Carolina 89
The Big Ten’s highest-ranked team hit the road to take on #9 North Carolina, but fell by eight points to the Tar Heels. Melo Trimble scored 23 points and added 12 assists in the Terrapins first loss of the season, with Rasheed Sulaimon adding 18.
North Carolina was led by 20-point performance from Marcus Paige, with Brice Johnson, Joel Berry II and Kennedy Meeks each scoring in double-digits.
#10 Virginia 64, Ohio State 58
Ohio State fell at home to a top-10 Virginia squad, despite a trio of Buckeyes forwards scoring in double digits. Marc Loving led the way with 19 points, with Keita Bates-Diop kicking in 15 and Jae-Sean Tate scoring 12.
Virginia got 22 points out of guard Malcom Brogdon, with Darius Thompson adding 12 points and forward Anthony Gill adding 10 points and 8 assists.
Purdue 72, Pittsburgh 59
Purdue picked up the Big Ten’s first victory of the night, a 13-point win over Pittsburgh buoyed by a 24-point, 12-rebound night out of center A.J. Hammons. Ryan Cline added 12 points off the bench.
Pittsburgh’s James Robinson and Michael Young led the Panthers with 17 and 16 points, respectively.
Miami (FL) 77, Nebraska 72 (OT)

The Hurricanes earned a 5-point overtime victory over the Cornhuskers despite a 28-point night from Nebraska forward Shavon Shields. Guard Andrew White scored 13 points in the loss.
Miami was paced by five players in double figures on the evening, led by 15 points from Angel Rodriguez.
Michigan 66, NC State 59
Michigan got 18 points out of Chris LaVert and saw another 17 out of Duncan Robinson off of the bench as the Wolverines held off the Wolfpack for a 7-point win.
NC State’s Caleb Martin scored 19 points in the loss to lead the Wolfpack.
Northwestern 81, Virginia Tech 79 (OT)
Northwestern evened the ACC/Big Ten Challenge series with a 2-point overtime win over Virginia Tech. Bryant McIntosh led the Wildcats with 19 points, while Tre Demps added 17 in the victory.
Seth Allen scored 25 points off of the bench for Virginia Tech in the loss.
