Rose Bowl: Wisconsin 21, UCLA 16

The UCLA-Wisconsin Rose Bowl of 1999 came just a few years after the two teams met in the 1994 Rose Bowl, a game that marked the Badgers first Rose Bowl win and first trip to the Rose Bowl since 1963.

A UCLA field goal opened the scoring, but Wisconsin took the lead on a Brent Moss three yard touchdown run. He added a score in the second quarter from one yard out as the Badgers took a 14-3 lead into the break.

UCLA made it a 14-10 game in the third quarter on a Ricky Davis 12-yard touchdown run, but Darrell Bevell pulled off possibly the biggest play of his career late in the game.

Not known as a running quarterback, Bevell scrambled for 21 yards and a touchdown to put the Badgers up 21-10. UCLA added a late touchdown, but could do no more as Wisconsin hung on for the first Rose Bowl Game win in team history.
