Head Coach Paul Chryst Buried Any NFL Talks on Tuesday

Head Football Coach Paul Chryst set the record straight on Tuesday afternoon, he wont be going anywhere anytime soon. In a somewhat questionable report last week it came out that Wisconsin Football Head Coach Paul Chryst was being considered as a candidate for the newly opened LA Rams job after the firing of Jeff Fisher.

On Tuesday afternoon Chryst put any rumors to bed as he said “there’s no way” when asked about the swirling possibilities of leaving the Wisconsin. He even joked that it was “Put out there by our enemies” with a smile on his while addressing the rumors.

Chryst is an excellent offensive mind, but the former Madison grad has called being the Head Ball Coach for Wisconsin Football to be his dream job, and the relationship is simply perfect between the two sides. Chryst is 20-6 in his first two seasons at UW, and is well on his way to taking this program to the next level because of the commitment and stability of having Coach Chryst at the helm.

While its understandable that every Coach thinks about Coaching at the highest level, its fair to say that Coach Chryst is comfortable with what he is building at Wisconsin. Not only does the news reassure Wisconsin Football fans who have been burned by the coaching carasouel before, but it also reassures the recruiting aspect which is beginning to ramp up. Once the Bowl game is finished up, Chryst and staff will begin on the recruiting trail in anticipation of Signing Day. With that ramping up, stability of coaching goes a long way in prospects decisions.

Overall, the confirmation of return was expected, but its nice to be reassured that Coach Chryst is comfortable building a top program in the Big Ten and that bright times are still ahead for Wisconsin Football.
