It was MG3 day for Wisconsin Football as #11 Nebraska and #22 Wisconsin squared off in Madison.  It was actually 10-3 Huskers at the end of the 1st quarter.   The  Melvin Gordon happened.  He finished his day after just three quarters of work having compiled 408 yards rushing, 4 TDs, on only 25 carries (16.3 yards/carry).   MG3 secured the record and his 4th TD on the same carry against a defeated Nebraska front in the 3rd quarter.  I will let you speculate on how many of the nearly 43,000 views of the embedded video below belong to me.

It was a truly stunning performance especially on just 25 carries and only three quarters of football.  His NCAA single game record was fleeting as Samaje Perine of Oklahoma ran for 427 yards on 34 carries a week later.
