Wisconsin kicks off the season against South Florida tonight in Tampa. Here is all of the info you need about how to follow the game.
No. 19 Wisconsin will open the season on the road against South Florida out of the American Athletic Conference. The Badgers are looking to bounce back in 2019 after a bitterly disappointing campaign last year, while the same could be said of the Bulls, who came out of the gate hot by winning their first seven games, only to drop every single one of their final six.
As was the case last season, Wisconsin’s first game of the year is on a Friday night, the day before the college football season kicks off in earnest. This means fans will have the luxury of taking in all that Saturday’s excellent slate of games has to offer without having to worry about missing any of them due to the necessity of watching their beloved Badgers.
What time
Wisconsin and South Florida will kick off from Raymond James Stadium at 6:00 p.m. CT.
Where to watch
The game will air on ESPN, with a crew of Dave Flemming (play-by-play), Louis Riddick (analyst), and Paul Carcaterra (sideline).

Snapshot preview
As of Thursday, the Badgers were listed as 11.5-point favorites in today’s matchup, but don’t sleep on these Bulls at home. While I can certainly envision such a comfortable margin of victory, this is a squad that could very well play Wisconsin close throughout, as head coach Charlie Strong returns some talented playmakers on both sides of the ball that could be impact players on many Power 5 programs. Throw in the home-field advantage of playing in the friendly confines of Raymond James Stadium, and this a contest that could still be hanging in the balance late in the second half.
