Wisconsin head coach Luke Fickell is hard at work getting both his team ready for the fall and getting recruits to visit in the spring. He's had a good amount of the top Wisconsin targets coming through the spring practices this month. Fickell has even picked up multiple recruits in the last two months in the 2026 class. This is all great news for Badger fans looking for hope in the future for the football program.
One recruit is headed to Madison this weekend to visit the University of Wisconsin, and he's bringing another recruit with him. Tony Forney Jr. posted a picture of himself in a car with Jowell Combay in the backseat. It should make Wisconsin fans smile that Forney is not only coming to visit himself, but he's bringing another recruit with him in Combay.

Tony Forney Jr. and Jowell Combay are set to visit Wisconsin this weekend
Tony Forney Jr. is a 3-star defensive back (safety) from Marietta, Georgia. He holds over 30 offers, many of which are in the SEC. He holds offers from Missouri, Vanderbilt, Auburn, Georgia, Michigan State, Ole Miss, and Texas A&M, among many others. Wisconsin getting him to come visit is very important, but for him to bring Combay with him says something.
24/7 Sports currently ranks Jowell Combay as an unranked defensive back, but he also holds 30 offers from schools like Tennessee, Missouri, Duke, Kansas, Alabama, Auburn, Georgia, and many more. Combay plays at the same high school as Forney Jr.
The fact that they are coming together may indicate that they would love to find a school they both can go to, a package deal if you will. This may be part of the motivation in their choices, and it will be interesting to see if Wisconsin can find a way to land them both.
