Wisconsin football has one target in the 2027 class that takes precedent over the others. At least thus far, as that class is still only in their junior year of high school. The recruit they want to see as a Wisconsin Badger the most so far is 4-star quarterback Israel Abrams. In his game on Friday night, he seemed to hint that he also appreciates the Badgers with a Wisconsin quarterback towel tucked into his uniform.

Nick Osen of 24/7 Sports was there watching the young player show off his skills with five total touchdowns on the night, and he snapped this picture:

Abrams is listed as a top-5 quarterback in his class by 24/7 Sports in exactly the fifth spot. He continues to bring in lots of interest from all over the country with 15+ offers, including universities like Cincinnati, Kentucky, Iowa State, Tennessee, Ole Miss, Michigan State, and many more.

He is a Midwest player out of Arlington Heights, Illinois, playing for Montini Catholic. He already had one year as a starter under his belt when he was a sophomore. He threw for 2,033 yards and 29 touchdowns, helping his school win a state title. He's a winner who knows how to use both his feet and his arm to help his team get the victory.

It's hard to know where his recruitment stands, as not much has been publicly shared from him about what schools interest him the most, but with the heavy pressure that Wisconsin is giving him and the fact that he seems to be returning the interest, it has many Badger fans paying close attention. The towel tucked into his belt only adds to the intrigue of Luke Fickell's pursuit of the electric signal caller.
