There seems to be a new weekly trend in college basketball, and it involves a former Badger and his continual struggle to provide any productive play for his new team, the Kansas Jayhawks. This week, the Jayhawks went into double overtime only to lose to the Houston Cougars 92-86. It was a brutal blow for a team looking to regain some momentum that was lost early in the season. While Kansas is still ranked 12th, it's a far cry from their number one overall ranking to start the season.

Some of the blame needs to be pointed at AJ Storr; at least, that's where the internet is aiming it. At the front row seat with popcorn in hand is Wisconsin fans. They are eating it up that Storr left the Badgers to get paid, and he's been awful.

Former Badger AJ Storr is struggling again this week against Houston

The timeline is literally filled with Storr posts and it's hard to look away. Here's some of the highlights:

When Jeff Goodman chimes in, it's no longer simply fans piling on. It's a real problem. Storr is just not who Kansas fans were hoping they would get when they signed him out of the transfer portal. He's not even who Kansas head coach Bill Self thought he was getting. It's another example of how, in basketball, fit matters almost as much as skill. Something isn't working right for Storr in Kansas, as it's not as if he's forgotten to play basketball, even if it looks like it.

Storr finished the game playing 18 total minutes, shooting 0-6 from the field, 0-3 from three, and 0-4 from the free throw line. This is impressively bad for a player who averaged 16.8 points a game and shot 43.4% from the field, 32% from three, and 81.2% from the line when he was with Wisconsin. The wheels are coming off for Storr in Kansas, and Jayhawk fans are tired of it.
