The 2026 Wisconsin recruiting class has been taking a lot of hits ahead of the early football signing period start. There's already been four recruits to bail, and a handful more are projected to flip before December 3rd arrives. Amid the chaos for Luke Fickell and the Badgers, two players posted on social media that they are solid with Wisconsin: Donovan Dunmore and Yahya Gaad.

With so many players speculated to flip and others who have already flipped, this is a welcome sight for Wisconsin fans. The recruiting class could be one of the worst in Luke Fickell's tenure unless he finds ways to grab a few more before it ends in February.

This is good news for a slowly shrinking Wisconsin recruiting class, and fans are eager to hear the same reaffirmation from top recruits Amari Latimer and Jayden Petit. Especially after both have been predicted to flip to other schools before the early signing day, however, having Dunmore and Gaad fully onboard helps a little, and maybe can stop some of the leaks.

Dunmore is a 3-star defensive back from Clovis, California, who has been committed to Wisconsin since September. Gaad is a 3-star DL recruit who originally was committed to UCLA, but after the Bruins fired their head coach, Gaad reopened his recruitment, and Luke Fickell swooped in to grab him. Gaad has been in the fold since the middle of October.

Fickell also recently got Qwantavius Wiggins to flip from FIU to Wisconsin, and he's going to be solid and part of the early signing period. That's at least three, with hopefully a few more holding on and signing to stay part of this unraveling recruiting class.
