Wisconsin was hoping its bubble resume was plenty good enough after finishing the season as hot as any team and then beating Purdue in the Big Ten Tournament. Yet, then the Badgers did the unthinkable, took down the overwhelming favorite and a very likely top-seeded Oregon Ducks. It was a slugfest that went back and forth until finally the Badgers came out on top.

Now the Badgers are playing with house money. It would be a shock at this point if Wisconsin doesn't make the NCAA Tournament. They are actually likely to be somewhere around a No. 3 regional seed if we are making projections. However, why stop the magic now?

Wisconsin now gets to take on UCLA, which is another top Big Ten softball program. The Bruins swept the Badgers earlier in the season (before Wisconsin got hot), and are another favorite to win the Big Ten Tournament and compete for a national title. The Bruins do it with slugging.

UCLA loves to blast home runs and hit four of them yesterday to cruise past Penn State. If Wisconsin wants to get to the championship game, it will most likely be in for another slugging contest, but this time against the Bruins.

There's no doubt UCLA is noticing what Wisconsin has been up to lately, and even how the Badgers beat Oregon. It will be a battle that won't come easy for either team.

The game is the nightcap game in the Big Ten Tournament. The two teams face off at 6:30 pm CT on the Big Ten Network. The winner heads to the championship game, and the loser waits to hear how they are seeded for the NCAA Tournament.
